As always, we are given our photo prompt by our wonderful Friday Fictioneer leader, Rochelle . Life is still manic at the moment with family, Easter and rehearsals for Spamalot the musical. He stood tall and straight. The wind blowing through his dark curls.
“Wait,” Grace’s hand clamped down on my shoulder.
The man stepped forwards, his feet hanging over the edge.
I raced across the roof top.
His foot hovered in the air as my small hand gripped the hem of his crumpled suit jacket.
He stared down at me, eyes wide.
Screams and car horns pierced the air.
Grace appeared on the other side of the man.
“Well done Libby.”
“Why did you stop me?”
I take his hand in mine and smile.
