Bite Me – Friday Fictioneers Flash Fiction Photo Prompt!

Hello all!

I hope you are well and ready for some more Flash Fiction. As always, we are given our photo prompt by our wonderful Friday Fictioneer leader, Rochelle . The rules are to write a story in 100 words, using the photo prompt as inspiration.  I do apologise for my absence last week and for being behind with reading everyone’s work. I have been auditioning for a play, ‘The Hollow’ and I’m delighted to say I got the part of Gerda!

So here is my attempt for this week. I hope you enjoy it.

 Bite Me.

I gasped for breath as I pressed myself up against the cold stone wall.

Trapped.

The Alpha stepped out of the shadows, golden eyes wide with excitement.

His ears pricked up as howls echoed around us.

They were coming.

He edged closer, his silver fur glistened in the moonlight.

My heart raced.

The air vibrated around us, bones snapped, fur slid away to reveal soft skin.

“Caught you.” Zac said, lifting my chin.

“Bite me.” I snapped.

“Oh, I intend to.”

“No…you can’t.”

I gasped as he feathered kisses down my neck and circled my shoulder.

“Mine.” His teeth pierced my flesh, claiming me.

“I…” It was overwhelming…I could feel him everywhere.

My wolf took over and I bit down on his shoulder.

“Mine.”

A lone howl filled with sorrow, split the night.

What have I done?

Mad Cow Productions present THE HOLLOW By Agatha Christie – THE HOLLOW is a classic English country house mystery, and rather a lot of fun.

An unhappy game of romantic follow-the-leader explodes into murder one weekend at The Hollow, home of Sir Henry and Lucy Angkatell.

With all the usual suspects assembled:  the jilted lover, mistress, wife, and of course, a butler. It is up to Inspector Colquhoun and Sergeant Penny to work out “whodunit!”
